Health & Nutrition
Community-driven nutrition initiatives that promote healthier and more resilient families.
TITI Foundation implements health and nutrition programs to address the high levels of malnutrition resulting from years of violent conflict in South Sudan. Since independence, continuous insecurity has forced many families to flee their homes, leaving behind crops, farmland, and essential tools. This disruption has significantly limited access to food, especially for children who are sometimes separated from their parents or caregivers.
To respond to these challenges, TITI Foundation focuses on supporting women and children in hard-to-reach and conflict-affected areas. The Foundation delivers integrated nutrition interventions that combine education, community-based growth monitoring, and food demonstrations. It promotes proper breastfeeding practices, provides nutrition counseling, and facilitates referrals for cases of acute malnutrition to appropriate treatment centers. Additionally, TITI Foundation works in collaboration with local partners to implement food distribution programs aimed at improving household food security and building community resilience against hunger and malnutrition.
Through these efforts, TITI Foundation contributes to healthier families and stronger communities by empowering women as key agents of nutrition and wellbeing.
